Boochee Beach Mural Project

March 11-19, 2022 / San Jose 6202, Negros Oriental, PH

The composition's direction is from right to left, greeting the sunrise. Curvilinear lines and motifs are sourced from different cultures like our indigenous people's weaving and textile designs. These curvilinear patterns connect the images, suggesting the house as the source, flowing towards the giant clam and then to the open sea greeting the sunrise.

In memoriam of Alex Oso (right, above), a young, talented artist who had a kindred spirit and strength to pursue his passion. He was efficient, responsible, and compassionate. It was an honor to have met Alex and worked with him in this mural project.
